On a recent trip, Dr. Pittman ran into and had the pleasure of catching up with 英语 alum, 约旦 Soliday (BA 英语). 约旦 now puts his 英语 degree to work by serving as a lead facilitator for the MIT xPRO Technology and Innovation Acceleration Program.
谢谢, 约旦, for demonstrating the diverse ways in which an 英语 degree leads to fulfilling employment!

“My name is Alyssa W. Christensen and I’m the creator and 英语 major behind the blog. After graduating from college, I had no idea what kind of career I wanted to pursue. (Not only did I attend a liberal arts school, but my emphasis was in 有创意的 writing, 具体的诗歌, which didn't exactly set me up on a lucrative career track.) My idea of what I could do with an 英语 major was limited, and even after an internship at a publishing company, I still felt like my options were few and far between.
